It was super windy out at the sand dunes so we didn't stay long. None the less the kids managed to get sand in every crack and pocket of their clothes and body. They did not want to leave.

There is a diversion dam along the river that we decided to go and check out. I had heard that they were doing some work on it so it became a stop on our road trip. My kids thought it was fun to throw big rocks over the edge into the part that fed the canal.

On the 3rd we had our local 4th of July parade and festivities at the park. We got to ride in the parade this year since my husband is on the fire dept. The kids thought it was so fun throwing candy and waving. Here are pics from the park and parade.

We also took a scenic drive up and fed the fish and then ended up at a lake up in the woods. It was really pretty but the mosquitoes were horrid!

There is a lady that lives in my ward that has the most beautiful flower garden so this particular day Life Flight was landing at the stake center so we decided to come and see it land. While we were parked there I realized I was right next to this flower garden to of course I had to get out and take lots of pictures. Hope you enjoy. I know I did.
