Choke Cherries, Choke Cherries, Choke Cherries!
I picked over 9 gallons of choke cherries this season. They were so plentiful I couldn't control myself. They were everywhere. Anyway, I took 7 gallons over to my mom's and we started juicing them. Holy cow did we ever heat up the house. My dad came home one evening and made a comment "No wonder the house is so hot you have all the windows open" I replied "We opened the windows because it was cooler outside than in the house" (It was 91 degrees outside). Any way we ended up with 3 gallons of syrup and 15 pints of jelly and boy is it good. Currently I am on the 2nd leg of my trip. We are up in WA visiting my sis. Last night there was a really good rain storm with lots of thunder and lightning and my 1 year old was fascinated with the thunder. She also loves trucks on the highway. She had to point at all the trucks on the way up here. This was between the 2 hour meltdowns in the car. I didn't think we were ever going to get here.

What are your doing this weekend? When are you leaving? Eric's fam is having a baptism but it would be fun to see you. Maybe meet in Tri-cities for lunch or something
