Tonight we are going up to the church for our annual Cub Scout cake auction. Even though I am no longer in Cub Scouts I wanted to make a cake for the auction. I saw this recipe in a cookbook last year and vowed to make it for the auction this year. Well here it is. It was a lot of fun.
Today I also learned how to put together a quilt square that is just random pieces of material. I guess it's called a crazy quilt when it's done. But here is my square I made today and it was a lot of fun to learn. It makes me want to get sewing.
